Ms. Peyton graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she excelled at business law, international law, and environmental law. She graduated early, earning her Juris Doctor degree in December of 2003, and was soon admitted to the New Jersey State Bar. She then served as CEO and General Counsel for a local construction company. She later moved into private practice, working for various small and medium-sized law firms in the Philadelphia area.
In 2014, Ms. Peyton found a growing need for legal counsel with a deeper understanding of trademarks and branding. She took a year to focus her work on these areas of the law before finally opening her own firm in early 2015. She designed Peyton Law to function more like a business and less like a typical law firm. The result is that Peyton Law offers innovative programs, insightful ways to help start-ups and businesses grow, and utilizes technology to offer affordable general counsel and intellectual property protection services.
