JANELLE PEYTON, ESQ.
CEO & Managing Partner
Janelle Snyder Peyton was again voted the #1 MainLine Today Top Lawyer for Business Law and Intellectual Property Law (2016-2022); and she was awarded the Emerging Leader of the Year by the Main Line Chamber of Commerce.
With almost 20 years of experience in law and business, she founded and continues to lead Peyton Law with the intention of serving entrepreneurs and business owners. She harnesses her keen awareness of business growth, opportunities, and client-vendor interactions to focus on solutions for her clients. Peyton Law’s clients benefit by receiving timely fit-for-purpose deliverables and efficient legal representation which navigates them around common mistakes.
As a former business owner herself, she offers her business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit to assist her clients in effectively and efficiently achieving their strategic goals. She knows firsthand the obstacles businesses face and the tough decisions that key players make. Therefore, she is uniquely suited to balance the need for legal services with risk management and financial resources. She is familiar with the concerns and mistakes to watch for, which ultimately saves her clients both money and time.
Janelle leads her accomplished team of attorneys and support staff with grace and a strict adherence to client needs. Her clients find that the Peyton Law Team is communicative, intelligent, and creative. The Team also finds that a little humor can go a long way. “We help clients brainstorm new strategies and creative ways to protect their IP; and when we do, it’s always a fun and collaborative atmosphere.”
Janelle graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she excelled at business law, international law, and environmental law. She graduated early, earning her Juris Doctor degree in December of 2003, and was soon admitted to the New Jersey State Bar. She then served as CEO and General Counsel for a local construction company, before moving into private practice.
In 2014, Janelle noticed a lack of legal counsel who had both a real understanding of business matters and also knowledge of trade secrets, proprietary methods, and licensing opportunities that could be benefitting entrepreneurs and business owners. She took a year to focus her work on these areas of the law before finally opening Peyton Law (then Snyder Law) in early 2015. She designed Peyton Law to function more like a business and less like a typical law firm. The result is that Peyton Law offers innovative programs, insightful ways to help start-ups and businesses grow, and utilizes technology to offer affordable general counsel and intellectual property protection services.
